The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
